The Changemakers Program supports changemaking activities of young talent to move the world to ensure a better future for children’s rights! The program is for everyone between 12 and 24 years that want to contribute to a lasting change for children’s rights in their communities and beyond. Within the overall community we want changemakers to inspire, activate and empower each other so they can improve their projects, scale their projects and impact and grow as changemakers. Together we want to improve the children’s rights situation all over the world.
If you want to start your own project, you should hand in a project plan. Our tutorials will help you to transform your idea to a project plan. No matter how small or big, all ideas are welcome! We will share tips & tricks, feedback on the project plan, guide you and promote the project on our global platform. Eventually you can even apply for a small fund to further improve your activities! Take the quickscan at the bottom of this page to see if you apply!
Within the Program we have three phases:
Everybody starts in the Action Developer phase so we can get to know each other. When the project has been approved, KidsRights publishes the project on our worldwide platform, to inspire changemakers all over the world.
If you don’t want to set up your own project, that’s okay: you can also join the projects of other changemakers. The program also provides the opportunity in online and offline spaces for changemakers to learn from each other and be empowered through Q&A’s and workshops. The International Children’s Peace Prize Winners are active members within the program, using their expertise to empower other changemakers.
